Interdome Realty’s Greg Cirone’s passion for the industry, coupled with his innate desire to continuously challenge himself professionally, are two reasons this managing broker makes himself accessible all day, every day of the year. But even beyond his drive and intellectual curiosity, Greg understands firsthand what it takes to succeed in real estate. Just like the old adage says, he can truly attest to the fact that experience is indeed the best teacher.
This is because Greg found himself in an uphill battle when the economy collapsed in 2008. With the housing market plummeting and home sales dwindling, he knew it was either sink or swim during those tough times, and he chose the latter, much to his long-term benefit. “I was able to stay in the business through the economic downturn and continue to build up my reputation and networking contacts,” he says. “When the market turned around, I had already established a solid foundation on which I could build, and everyone knew I was the Realtor to call because I’d proven myself.”
A self-described people person, Greg characterizes his approach as polite, yet tenacious. “I won’t give up until my clients’ goals are achieved,” he explains. That dedication, as well as his extensive knowledge of northwest Chicago and its surrounding suburbs, attract a range of individuals with diverse needs. First-time homebuyers, empty nesters, rehabbers and investors all count themselves among those who rely on Greg’s 12 years of experience. Their satisfaction not only leads to the lasting relationships that he builds with them, but it also results in ongoing referrals.
Family is also very important to Greg. Being the father of three daughters and a husband, he knows what it takes to find homes for his clients who are looking for the first step to start a family, take the next step to grow a family, or once the family is grown, finding a nice home for empty nesters. Greg knows that families are the core of our lives and centers his business around it.
Greg, who is also fluent in Italian and Spanish, was named among the top 1 percent of producers by the Chicago Association of Realtors in 2014 and 2013. Those accolades speak to not only his passion for his work, but also his willingness to help others get as excited as he is about the possibilities a real estate career can offer. As he puts it, someone in this business should “go above and beyond” when it comes to helping clients, which is why Greg is never truly off duty.
