Crystal Lake was ranked the No. 10 small city in the U.S. in a new WalletHub study.

WalletHub’s survey ranked 1,268 small cities with populations ranging from 25,000 to 100,000, and used several different metrics, including affordability, economic health, education and overall quality of life.

Here is how Crystal Lake ranked:

• Affordability: 222
• Economic health: 291
• Education and health: 12
• Quality of life: 413
