Number of years in real estate: 5 years.
Describe your look:
“I won Best Dressed” mixed with a bit of “I go to church.”
What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
Being afraid to show your personality. I believe in breaking the rules if it reflects your style.
What item of clothing gets you the most compliments?
My shoes. I take risks with the colors, styles and patterns. Whether it’s gym shoes, sneakers or dress shoes, my footwear usually makes the statement.
Where are your favorite clothing stores or brands?
Online stores and boutiques, but thrift stores have the best stuff. For shoes, I’ve grown to love Marc Nolan.
What fashion accessory do you feel naked without?
I like stone bracelets, and I own quite a few, so if I’m not wearing one, I feel like something is missing.
Who is your style icon?
My godfather. He showed me how to style on a budget and how to make the clothes I wear look better on me.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
I would say the shoes I have on. These black patent Oxfords enhance a lot of my suits.
What’s the most meaningful accessory or piece of clothing you’ve ever acquired? Do you still have it?
I have a cream and tan cashmere scarf that belonged to my mother. Yes, I still have it.
What style has come back into fashion that you think shouldn’t have?
Oversized styles. It can sometimes give a sloppy appearance and a lack of confidence.
What decade or time period had the best fashion in your opinion?
I would say the 1920s. It was just a very distinguished and classic look.
What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
I needed a tie for a suit that I had on, so I went to the store to try on a few. Let’s just say it was a buy one and the one I had around my neck was free. I honestly didn’t realize I’d worn it out until I got in the car. Yes, I kept the free one!
Does your style reflect your personal brand? If so, how?
Yes, my personal brand is about confidence, presence and freedom. My style reflects this as well.
What is your style advice for other people in the industry?
When it comes to style, “It ain’t for the weak,” so make a strong statement!
