Debbie Pawlowicz named Mainstreet Realtor of the Year

by John Yellig

Mainstreet REALTORS® named Debbie Pawlowicz, managing broker and owner of DPG Real Estate in Lisle, as its 2025 Realtor of the Year.

The award is Mainstreet’s highest honor and recognizes Pawlowicz’s service and dedication to the real estate industry and her community, the organization said.

“Debbie truly embodies the impact Realtors have on their communities,” Mainstreet President Connie Vavra said in a press release. “Her leadership extends beyond real estate, whether she’s shaping the future of education as a board member, working to generate economic development in her community or dedicating countless hours to nonprofits.”

A past president of Mainstreet, Pawlowicz pushed members to engage with government affairs and encouraged Realtors to run for office. She also represented Mainstreet in trade missions to Greece and Ireland.

She currently serves on the boards of Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. She facilitated a $15,000 NAR grant to the Lisle Park District for the construction of a state-of-the-art ADA-accessible playground.

Outside real estate, Pawlowicz serves on the board of the Lisle Education Foundation and executive board for the Lisle Chamber of Commerce. She is also the Lisle Township clerk and supports several nonprofits and local initiatives.

“I am incredibly honored to receive this recognition from Mainstreet and my fellow Realtor peers,” she said. “For me, real estate is about more than transactions, it’s about trust, learning and giving back. My goal is always to lead with integrity and make a meaningful impact on both my clients and my community.”
