Developer Crescent Heights has launched condo sales at 850 Lake Shore Drive on the doorstep of Streeterville and the Gold Coast.
The 97-year-old building designed by architect Jarvis Hunt was renovated over the last 10 years and features sweeping lake views, a rooftop deck, fitness center, indoor pool and spa. Other amenities include a dog run, valet parking garage, bike storage and more.
“At Crescent Heights, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of market trends. We believe 850 Lake Shore Drive offers an exceptional product, in an A+ lakefront location, at attainable price points,” says Jason Buchberg, partner and vice president of Crescent Heights. “The challenge has been that new construction is too expensive for most buyers to justify. This development offers buyers the variety of inventory at attainable prices, with all the bells and whistles of new construction.”
Wolf Development Strategies will handle sales and marketing for the units in the building.
“We are excited to work with Crescent Heights in bringing this exciting project to market,” says CEO David Wolf. “850 Lake Shore Drive gives the market exactly what it has been demanding, an opportunity to own high-quality real estate with all the amenities and features of new construction at a very reasonable price.”
Units include studios starting at $240,000; one bedrooms beginning at $250,000; two-bedroom options from $534,000; and three bedrooms starting at $1.17 million. Ceilings are 9 feet up to 14 feet, 6 inches.
Previous building residents include actor Billy Zane and former Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon.
