Lincoln Park agent Cadey O’Leary moves to @properties Christie’s International Real Estate

by Emily Mack

Cadey O’Leary, one of Lincoln Park’s top producers, has joined @properties Christie’s International Real Estate. She’s closed more than $88 million in sales volume over the past two years combined and, in 2023, her average transaction price was $1.4 million.

O’Leary entered the real estate industry more than 10 years ago, following a career in marketing and business development. Since then, she’s become a well-known agent on the city’s Near North Side, most recently with Sotheby’s International Realty. There, O’Leary ranked among the top 1% of Chicagoland agents.

Specializing in high-end, new construction, O’Leary was the exclusive listing agent and developer consultant for The Orchard Private Residences, a 32-unit, luxury development in Lincoln Park which sold out with an average unit price of $2.8 million in 2022. Then, in November 2023, O’Leary oversaw the sale of 1907 N. Dayton St. for $4 million.

Now with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, she will be based out of the firm’s East Lincoln Park office. There, she will support the marketing and sales of 438 West St. James Place, a boutique condo development, co-listed by Genna Hill and Eugene Fu. Prices range up to $4.4 million.

“I’m thrilled to join @properties Christie’s International Real Estate,” O’Leary said in a press release. “I look forward to leveraging my success with development sales and marketing and the Christie’s International Real Estate global luxury network to create more opportunities for my clients, both here in Chicago and across the country.”

Rick Sobin, vice president of brokerage services for the company, also shared his excitement. “Cadey’s extensive experience in luxury real estate, strong relationships with her fellow brokers, connections in Chicago’s developer community and her unwavering commitment to premier client service make her a great addition.”
