@properties Christie’s International Real Estate promotes Amy Corr and Tom Downing

by Emily Mack

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate has announced the promotion of two high-level executives: Amy Corr and Tom Downing, named chief brokerage officer and executive vice president of brokerage services, respectively. Both are new roles for the organization.

Corr has been with @properties since 2004, first joining as an agent before transitioning into a management role in 2010. As vice president of brokerage services, she spearheaded the firm’s expansion into the North Shore suburbs and, more recently as executive vice president of culture and agent development, led training and coaching initiatives.

In her new role as chief brokerage officer, she will continue to oversee the firm’s coaching and training as well as work closely with company co-founders and co-owners Mike Golden and Thad Wong to direct growth initiatives, agent services and more.

“It’s hard to overstate Amy’s positive impact on agent development, the successful agent mindset, and @properties’ culture over the years,” Wong said in a press release. “She’s a dynamic leader who brings out the best in her team, and she’s hyper-focused on helping our firm.”

Tom Downing, meanwhile, was promoted to executive vice president of brokerage services from the role of vice president of brokerage services. After five years as an agent with @properties, Downing took that position in 2020, overseeing one of the firm’s highest-grossing offices: Winnetka.

Now, he will continue to manage the Winnetka office while supporting the company’s full team of managing brokers through coaching, mentorship, organizational management and other development strategies. He will also be responsible for agent retention and recruiting programs.

“Tom has proven to be a tremendous asset to @properties Christie’s International Real Estate agents and managers alike,” Golden said. “His experience and knowledge add another layer of depth to our management team.”
