Industry veteran Bob Floss joins BHHS Chicago

by Emily Mack

Real estate industry veteran Bob Floss has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago (BHHS Chicago) as a managing broker for the firm’s Lincoln Park office. He comes directly from his own brokerage, Bob Floss and Son Realty.

Throughout his long career, Floss has sat on the board of various Realtor organizations, including the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and previously served as the president of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® (CAR) and MLS La Grange Board of REALTORS®. Over those years, Floss also chaired various association committees, including Illinois REALTORS®’ Committee of Professional Standards, which he sat on for 26 years.

“It has been my great pleasure to know Bob, both professionally and personally, and I consider him to be one of the great ambassadors of our industry,” Darlene Little, the managing broker of the Lincoln Park office, said in a press release. “Bob’s real estate experience truly runs the gamut from exceptional real estate professional to owning his own successful brokerage to creating his own training program that was adopted by the Chicago Association of REALTORS®.”

Floss also expressed his own excitement. “I have known Darlene for many, many years and hold her in high regard. And I believe in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago brand,” he said.

Outside of work, Floss is a founder and past charter president of Countryside Rotary, a co-founder of the Countryside Chamber of Commerce and a Master of the La Grange Masonic Temple. He also served two terms on the Lyons Township Peaceful School Initiative Board and two terms on the Des Plaines Valley Mental Health Board Association.
