As a part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago’s (BHHS Chicago) annual Community Kindness initiative, the firm’s Glenview office is accepting “Glam Box” donations through July 26. These Glam Boxes will benefit Simply From the Heart, a nonprofit which pampers cancer patients undergoing treatment in the hospital.

BHHS Chicago is requesting an array of beauty products, including manicure and pedicure tools, such as nail polish, nail files, toe separators and nail polish remover wipes, as well as cosmetics like eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, mascara, lip stick, lip gloss, brushes, hair products and accessories.

Those donating can drop off items at the Glenview office, 2630 Valor Drive, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

Monetary donations are also accepted with checks written out to the Kindness Foundation, BHHS Chicago’s philanthropic arm, or Simply From the Heart, with Kindness Foundation written in the notes field.

“Simply From the Heart does such great work helping people undergoing cancer treatment feel some normalcy,” Managing Broker Kevin Rynes said in a press release. “Their ‘Glam Squads’ arrive at the hospital to pamper cancer patients with nail, hair and makeup services.”
