Yvonne Mortimer promoted to managing broker of four BHHS Chicago offices

by Emily Mack

Yvonne Mortimer has been promoted to managing broker of four Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago (BHHS Chicago) offices: Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Schaumburg. She started at the company earlier this year as the operations manager for three of those offices (Schaumburg excluded).

“I’m so pleased to announce Yvonne’s promotion to managing broker of our Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Schaumburg and Wheaton offices,” said Joe Stacy, a senior vice president and general sales manager at BHHS Chicago, in a press release. “She has been a terrific addition to the BHHS Chicago leadership team and to our western suburban offices since joining us earlier this year as operations manager.”

Prior to that position, Mortimer was the director of agent development for Baird & Warner’s Glen Ellyn office. She also worked at Coldwell Banker as a Realtor for 26 years and a managing broker for seven.

Commenting on that experience, Stacy said, “Her knowledge of our business and her knowledge of this market has helped us move forward confidently, in a high velocity market and in this moderating one.” Stacy, who was serving as a managing broker for the Glen Ellyn, Naperville and Wheaton offices will now turn his attention toward coaching agents.
