Zillow 3D Home tours, which offer interactive, 360-degree views of listings, will now appear on Redfin automatically — with no additional steps required from agents.
The tours are free to build for sellers and agents and can be created using any smartphone camera. Placing shoppers in the point of view of the photographer, users can navigate the 3D Home tours to see the dimensions of a house from a more realistic perspective. Utilizing the high-tech feature also offer sellers a competitive edge: Listings with a 3D Home tour included earn 81% more online views, according to a press release from Zillow.
To add a 3D Home tour to Redfin, previously, agents needed to manually enter its link. But now, Zillow is automatically syndicating the feature across platforms. Other automatic syndications with various real estate websites and multiple listing services are also in the works, according to the company.
“Customers have dramatically raised their expectations for a virtual home shopping experience over the past two years,” Josh Weisberg, vice president of Zillow’s Rich Media Experience team, said in the press release. “This technology allows agents and photographers to meet those expectations with a seamless, immersive tour experience that is easily made and shared.”
