Guaranteed Rate’s Amir Syed, a senior vice president of mortgage lending in Chicago, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR). 

Syed will assist CAR in engaging, educating and serving its members through a wide variety of programs and offerings. 

“I’m proud to be serving on the Board of such an important organization within the Chicago real estate community,” Syed said in a press release. “The relationships I’ve built with real estate professionals are a huge reason I’m able to serve so many homebuyers and help them reach their goals. I’m excited to give back to this community even more through this position and continue providing Chicago’s homebuyers with the highest level of service.”

With nearly 20 years of mortgage industry experience, Syed has spent his career helping clients find the best possible mortgage solution for their goals and needs. Syed also volunteers at GRIP Outreach for Youth, a nonprofit organization that supports Chicago’s youth.
