Welcome to our annual Real Data issue, which highlights those who made waves in the 2019 Chicagoland market. We’re excited to bring you this look back at the last year to help you both celebrate your colleagues and identify your competition as you forge ahead in 2020.

Because Real Data is organized by county, you may notice some differences from our Real Data rankings when compared to other totals you’ll see around the industry. Some top producers who spread their work across multiple counties might not end up as high in the ranking as you’d expect. But we’re proud of our geographic focus on the numbers and feel it brings something unique to the real estate data table in Chicagoland. We’re also excited to bring you data on the highest closings and lowest days on market for Chicagoland and the six counties we cover: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry and Will.

Though they’ve made some great strides toward better reporting for teams in the past year, MRED isn’t quite at the point where it’s able to offer us lists of the top teams vs. top individual producers. However, our very next issue will highlight three amazing agents who are making big moves as solo practitioners, a story we’re really excited to bring you.
