Team members on the move, heading to Berkshire Hathaway and EXIT

by Meg White

Woodlawn brokerage signs up with EXIT

Nick Libert, owner and CEO of EXIT Strategy Realty announced that the company is bringing on a new real estate team, known as the Beals Group. Prior to joining EXIT, the team was actually an independent brokerage known as Beals & Associates Ltd that was run by managing broker Wayne Beals.

“Wayne is the fourth independent brokerage in the past 18 months to merge into EXIT Strategy, and I think that speaks volumes about our value proposition,” Libert said. “Our vision is to allow agents to grow from career launch through running their own branded team within our brokerage.”

Libert added that Beals’ footprint in Woodlawn is an impressive one, with a 27 percent market share in new construction properties and 13 percent overall in the neighborhood. “The addition of the Beals Group to EXIT Strategy Realty will cement a market position in some of Chicago’s most rapidly redeveloping neighborhoods for EXIT,” Libert said.

Beals has been in the business since 2003 and has worked with developers such as Renaissance Properties, Greenline Homes, Wabash Properties and MK Construction. Beals & Associates was located in south Bridgeport; Beals will be working out of the EXIT Strategy Realty office at 7300 South Cottage Grove Ave. in Grand Crossing.

BHHS brings back agent from top team

After heading over to Compass with the The Jeff Lowe Group, Lindsay Everest is back at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago.

“Personally, I am happy to be working with her again. She will be a wonderful addition to our office,” said Alan Zuber, managing broker of the firm’s Michigan Avenue office, in a press release put out last week. “She is gifted at working with buyers and sellers and has an enviable industry knowledge and strong work ethic. We look forward to helping her grow her business to even greater heights.”

Everest has been with Lowe for more than a decade; she started out in the industry in 2005 and joined his team the next year. “I’m excited to be back and to continue doing what I love: helping clients make important decisions. I have tremendous respect for Alan and his ability to strengthen existing relationships, which makes this move seem not only natural, but like the perfect fit,” Everest said.

The Jeff Lowe Group left for Compass back in November 2017. Compass’ web page for the team noted that, in terms of total residential sales, Lowe was at the top of the list for both Chicago and Illinois in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
