Partnership between Real Estate Institute and AgentEDU offers new options for students

by Meg White

Late last month, Illinois-based school Real Estate Institute announced it would be launching an affiliate relationship with AgentEDU, a division of Agent Publishing, which produces Chicago Agent magazine.

“We’re thrilled that our students will benefit from this value-added training,” said Larry Toban, president of Real Estate Institute. “AgentEDU offers programs that perfectly complement Real Estate Institute’s pre-license, post-license and continuing education programs for real estate professionals.”

The school, which has provided a professional education to more than 150,000 alumni nationwide, was launched in 1992 as a way to offer Illinois real estate licensing programs. Since then, it has expanded to accommodate students in the insurance, mortgage brokerage, lending, law, and accounting worlds.

AgentEDU’s 10-minute video courses and training materials cover a range of real-world topics, including basic core real estate skills as well as advanced courses on negotiation, lead generation, marketing, technology and more.

“As an innovator in agent training, AgentEDU is well positioned to move an agent’s career to the next level,” said Marci Sepulveda, AgentEDU founder and managing partner. “We offer training that teaches both new and experienced agents the latest best practices for their day-to-day operations.”

The partnership was crafted specifically to complement the Real Estate Institute’s training programs. Students will have access to AgentEDU’s real estate video lessons through dedicated web access and preferred pricing. AgentEDU is also creating an exclusive bundled package tailored specifically to the Real Estate Institute’s students.
