Compass snags top producer from Hinsdale

Earlier this week, Compass announced they were bringing agent Julie Sutton into its Hinsdale operation. A regular on Chicago Agent magazine’s Real Data list of top sales prices for DuPage County, Sutton is moving her team over from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage – Hinsdale Village.

“After very thorough consideration, our team has decided to join the Compass family,” Julie said. “We are thrilled to partner with a company that shares our vision for where the industry is headed.”

Coldwell Banker’s two new branch managers, both from Baird & Warner

Two new local faces will be under the Realogy banner: Rachel Scheid is Coldwell Banker’s new branch manager for their West Loop office and Nick Garcia will be managing Coldwell Banker’s Orland Park office.

Both are transplants from Baird & Warner. Garcia had been leading a team of 75 at the local stalwart brand in the city’s southwest suburbs, though he had been with Coldwell Banker for several years as an agent. Scheid was the assistant managing broker in Baird & Warner’s North Center office.

GRate brings on new marketing exec

Guaranteed Rate announced this week that it hired Kristen Brabants to be its senior vice president of marketing, overseeing the company’s retail marketing platform. Brabants comes to her new position after serving in various marketing roles in Massachusetts with loanDepot and Mortgage Master.
