Chicago Agent’s readership is a mix of agents, lenders, managing brokers and developers. You operate in the city and the suburbs (many in both), fall into a wide range of age groups, come from a variety of professional backgrounds and have different plans for your futures.
According to NAR’s 2016 member profile, the median age among Realtors is 53 years, median years of experience is 10 years, and Realtors’ median tenure at their firm sits at three years. Our numbers look a little different. The median age among our agent readers here in Chicagoland is 49 years, they have been in the industry for an average of 13.6 years, and they have been with their company for an average of 6.1 years.
