Ahmed Badat Wins 2015 MORe Realtor of the Year Award

Mainstreet Organization of Realtors has named Ahmed Badat 2015 Realtor of the Year for his work in real estate and being an active member of the Lisle community.

The award is granted to professionals who exhibit exceptional service  in local, state and national Realtor association service, community service and professional accomplishments. Badat has won the award in 2006, 2012 and 2014. Badat has been in real estate since 1986, and has worked for AMB Realty for more than 25 years.

He specializes in global real estate and is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS). Badat served as the NAR President’s Liaison to South Africa in 2010 and to the United Arab Emirates in 2015.

Badat’s community involvement includes participating in the DuPage Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness’ Run for the Mind event. He has coached youth soccer for the Lisle Park District and has volunteered with Realtors Volunteer Build Program with Habitat for Humanity. Badat also is a member of Amnesty International and the Southern Poverty Law Center. 

“It is a great honor to be recognized by my peers,” Badat said. “My membership in MORe has allowed me to pursue my passion for bringing the world together by sharing knowledge and culture.”

Pradeep Shukla, the past president of MORe, praised Badat for his achievements.

“The Realtor of the Year Award is one of great distinction and Ahmed is a more than worthy recipient of it,” Shukla said. “Ahmed’s business accomplishments, educational outreach and community service demonstrate what it truly means to be a Realtor.”
