Chicagoland’s housing market had a wonderful July, but what specific markets shined the brightest?

July was a great month for the greater Chicagoland housing market, but more specifically, what were the busiest housing markets in the city and suburban markets for the month?

To answer that question, we consulted home sale data for both attached and detached single-family homes provided by the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, which used data from MRED. What did we uncover? Take a look at our infographic below to find out!

    What numbers did Mainstreet use? I count 72 homes closed in Berwyn in July, not counting condos. Even if the multi unit properties are removed there still were over 60 homes closed in the month.

    It’s MRED not Mainstreet that has these numbers. Besides, it is for towns that did at least 100 or more.
