The Right Way to Price Properties

Despite rocky market conditions over the past few years, Brooks, Hibbs and Kerbis have a strong track record for success with sellers. Hibbs recently sold a listing within a month, something she credits to proper staging and proper pricing, and Brooks experienced two quick deals in one day.

“Two of my listings went on the market at the same price point last fall, and both homes received multiple offers later that same day,” Brooks says.

A year ago, one of Kerbis’ listings went under contract in just a few days, proving that selling quickly and selling for good and accurate prices is making a comeback in this market.

“The home was in a great location, it showed well, it was priced right and there was not a whole lot of inventory on the market,” Kerbis says.  “What I tell every single seller is, you have to show well and you have to be priced to the market, because you cannot control what other inventory is out there and you cannot control the location. However, you can take those into account when pricing.”
