The industry looks like it’s on its way back up – the average income in 2011 was $95,000, compared to $70,000 in 2010. In addition, by percentage, 21 percent of agents’ annual income is within the $100,001 to $250,000 range, 19 percent is in the $50,001 to $75,000 range and 18 percent is in the $75,001 to $100,000 range. With 2011’s average income being 15 percent below the pre-recession average income, $110,910, there is a suggested upturn in business.
