The Legacy at Millennium Park has taken home a Vision Award presented by the Urban Land Institute, Chicago District Council.

Luxury condominium The Legacy at Millennium Park was recently awarded with a prestigious honor at the inaugural Vision Awards, hosted by the Urban Land Institute, Chicago District Council (ULI Chicago).

The Legacy took home a Vision Award for its overall innovation, best practices and contribution to the growth of the city.

“Award criteria include achieving a high standard of excellence in all areas of the development process, and creatively solving complex land use and development challenges,” according to a press release.

Designed by Solomon Cordwell Buenz and developed by Mesa Development, LCC and Walsh Investors, LLC, The Legacy has also received other honors in addition to their new Vision Award. It has received the “Top 10 in 2010” distinction at the 2011 Emporis Skyscraper Awards and the title of “Tallest New Building in North America 2010” from the 2010 Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, among others.

“ULI Chicago challenges and inspires planners, architects and developers to constantly push the envelope,” said Principal and Founder of Mesa Development, LLC Richard A. Hanson. “It’s an honor to be recognized by such an organization.”
