The first annual Prudential Rubloff fundraising event, which took place on September 21, was a success, especially for the Sunshine Kids organization, which received the proceeds of the event, about $20,000 in all.
The donation was in dedication of the memory of Wendy Bergseth, the firm’s former executive vice president and Lake Forest Office Manager.
“We are very proud to make this donation to the Sunshine Kids in memory of Wendy,” said Michael Pierson, principal partner of Prudential Rubloff Properties. “Prudential Rubloff participants and their guests who attended the all-day event were treated to an impressive array of activities including golf, tennis, silent auctions, dinner, live music and more.”
“The weather and the setting at the Marriott Oak Brook Hills Resort were ideal for coming together to raise funds for this great organization,” Chris Eigel, also a principal partner of Prudential Rubloff Properties, added. “We were very pleased with our results and look forward to exceeding them next year.”
The event was held by the Prudential Rubloff Cares Committee, which is led by Tina Porterfield and Laura Marquardt.
