The Clare is just one of the property listings that jump-started Chicago's rentals by 20 percent in September.

During the month of September, rental listings on the Chicago MLS jumped almost 20 percent, according to data compiled by Yo Chicago.

“A seasonal increase in available units and slower absorption are to be expected at this time of year. In September of last year the number of available units increased by 11.6%,” the site reported.

Of the 141 additional rental properties that accounted for the increase, almost two-thirds of the listings came from just two zip codes: 60605, which is in the South Loop, and 60611, which covers the Gold Coast and Streeterville.

Among the notable properties listed are 22 units at The Clare on 55 E Pearson St and 7 units at the eternally-cursed One Museum Park on 1211 S Prairie.
