RE/MAX Northern Illinois Honors Residential Top 20 Agents, Teams

The RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network recently honored its associates whose 2010 residential sales achievements earned them spots in its year-end Residential Top 20 award ceremony.

Membership is based on the prior year’s residential sales achievements. Each year, the network recognizes its Top 20 residential agents and its Top 20 residential teams. A team involves the combined efforts of two or more licensed agents.

In the city of Chicago, three agents and one team were recognized. Robert Padron of RE/MAX Cityview ranked fourth. Kristi Gunter and Marlene Granacki of RE/MAX Exclusive ranked seventh and eighth, respectively. The sales team lead by Linda O’Donnell of RE/MAX Signature ranked 13th.

RE/MAX led the Northwest Suburbs real estate market, listing 23 percent of residences sold, and it was number one in buyer representation, accounting for 21.6 percent of all purchases. Connie Ritchie of RE/MAX Suburban ranked second; Sharon Gidley of RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest, fifth; John Morrison of RE/MAX Barrington, 14th; Sharon Falco of RE/MAX Central, fifteenth; and Danny McGovern of RE/MAX Properties Northwest, 16th. The teams who were honored were Paul Wells, RE/MAX of Barrington ranked 14th, and Denise D’Amico of RE/MAX Central, 19th.

The RE/MAX sales teams in Kane County that were honored were Matt Kombrink of RE/MAX Excels ranked third; Alex Rullo, RE/MAX Great American North, St. Charles, 10th; and Wayne Reuter of RE/MAX Excels, 11th.

Lake County was the home of the two top-ranked teams for 2010. Jane Lee’s team for RE/MAX Top Performers ranked first, and Leslie McDonnell’s team at RE/MAX Suburban, second. The other sales teams honored were Andee Hausman’s team of RE/MAX Experts ranked fifth and Marco Amidei of RE/MAX Suburba, sixth. The individual agents who were honored were Marsha Ulbrich of RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest ranked third and was also recognized for earning the single largest residential commission of 2010 and in the history of the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network; Larry Leibovtiz of RE/MAX Experts, sixth; Cherie Smith Zurek of RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest, 11th; Lynn Fairfield of RE/MAX Suburban, 13th; Anna Klarck of RE/MAX Showcase in Long Grove, 17th; and Brenda Newman-Lawler of RE/MAX Showcase in Gurnee, 19th.

In 2010, RE/MAX was the market share leader in listings sold for the south suburbs of Cook County and for Will County. RE/MAX agents sold more listings in each of those areas than agents affiliated with any other brokerage organization. Ed Lukaski, Jr. of RE/MAX Professionals in Bolingbrook was the top ranked residential agent in the RE/MAX Northern Illinois network for the second consecutive year. He was also honored for closing 220 transactions in 2010, more than any other individual agent in the network. Also earning a spot in the 2010 Residential Top 20 was the sales team of Bruce Hackel at RE/MAX South Suburban in Flossmoor ranked 20th.

For DuPage County, The individual agent’s honored were Linda Price of RE/MAX of Naperville, ranked ninth; Jill Clark of RE/MAX Professionals Select, 12th; Jeff Stainer of RE/MAX Action 18th; and Terry Pazo of RE/MAX Professionals Select, 20th. The teams from DuPage County who were recognized were Marge Pawlak’s team of RE/MAX Enterprises, ranked seventh; Steve Malik’s team from RE/MAX Professionals Select eighth; Cindy Banks’s team from RE/MAX Cornerstone, ninth; Bernie Cobb, Jr.’s team from RE/MAX of Naperville, 12th; Charles Ivas’ team from RE/MAX elite, 15th; Rosemary West’s team of RE/MAX Professionals, 16th; Lance Kammes’ team from RE/MAX Suburban, 17th; and William White, Jr.’s team from RE/MAX of Naperville, 18th.
