Younan Properties, Inc., a fully-integrated, national real estate owner and operator of office buildings in five major U.S. office markets, announced that Transwestern has been awarded the leasing contract for 200 North LaSalle, a 645,170-square-foot Class A office high-rise in the heart of downtown Chicago’s central business district. The new assignment is effective today.
Leading the leasing efforts for the landmark property will be Tamara Kos, executive vice president, Sandy Macaluso, senior associate and Teddy Walsh, Associate. Joe Stevens, senior vice president, will provide strategic support and serve as a liaison between Younan senior management and the leasing team.
“Transwestern was selected for this assignment because of its local market expertise, ability to close deals and familiarity with the building,” says Daniel Svachula, Regional Leasing Manager for Younan’s Chicago portfolio. “The team has extensive experience leasing in the Central Loop and has a successful track record leasing this asset.”
According to Kos, winning this assignment offers an unparalleled opportunity to lease a premier asset with excellent location, efficient floor plates and competitive amenity package. “Transwestern is excited for the opportunity to expand our relationship with Younan Properties working on this first class asset. The superior technological infrastructure, saw tooth design, and amenity base are just a few reasons why 200 N. LaSalle is an excellent alternative for ‘educated tenants’ within the Central Loop.”
Located on the northwest corner of Lake and North LaSalle Streets in The Loop, the historic center of downtown Chicago, the green-tinted glass tower incorporates 645,170 rentable square feet. The property features a recently renovated plaza, main lobby, elevator cabs, tenant corridors and building systems as well as state-of-the-art telecommunications capabilities. Retail amenities include Associated Bank, Corner Bakery, Caribou Coffee, HQ Printers and sundries shop. The building offers near proximity to Thompson Center, City Hall/County Building, Daley Center, and all major METRA/CTA trains.
