Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall

by Chicago Agent

I am sad to report to you all that summer has almost ended. On Sept. 22 it will be officially fall, though it seems that many take their cues from Labor Day as the landmark for summer’s end. No more summer hours, no more street festivals and Hamlin Park has drained its pool, robbing me of my beloved outdoor swims. However, fall isn’t all that bad! Football is here and baseball is heading into playoff season, where perhaps two Chicago teams will make an appearance. The leaves will turn beautiful colors, fall TV will start up and my fluffy dog will be able to stand long walks again without stopping in the middle of the sidewalk to lie down in the shade. And, of course, the fall selling season will begin.

I know many of you think that summer is the time to get people into homes, but once fall hits your clients have more time to concentrate, and the cooler weather will encourage buyers to get out of their air-conditioned home and get moving. What better way to get yourself ready for this new season then to open up our Fall New Construction issue and find out what new construction gems Chicagoland has to offer?

In this issue, we have over 200 new construction listings from Bourbonnais up to Wauconda and over west to Marengo and a whole bunch of places in between which are just as fun to say. If your clients are looking for a new construction home, then you need to look no further than the pages of this issue to find them the perfect home.

While you may have to wait a while to lounge next to Lake Michigan in a bathing suit with a contraband beer, at least there will be plenty of time to focus on the task at hand: finding your clients a new home. Fall may be right around the corner, but so is your next successful sale.

I look forward to meeting all of you at our Fall New Construction Collection this Wednesday at the W Hotel City Center!
