Sophisticated and feminine

What do you consider a “fashion don’t”?
Ill-fitting clothes. Anything too short or too tight is a definite “don’t.”

What is your favorite piece of clothing and why?
I particularly love my BR Monogram lightweight three-quarter quilted trench coat. It is sleek and classic and makes any of my outfits sophisticated.

What do you consider a must-have accessory?
A great pair of black pumps, preferably with a stacked heel

What is a fashion crime you have committed in the past?
Sadly, I embraced the poncho look a time or two. Looking back on it now I am horrified. A large shapeless piece of fabric with a hole for your head is not a good look.

Where are your favorite places to shop?
I love to shop while on a getaway or a vacation at the local boutiques. At home in the suburbs, my first stop is Nordstrom. I also like Zinnias in Geneva and Francesca’s Collections.

What, besides your wardrobe, completes your look?
My husband and daughter are my true “must-haves.”
