Achieving goals isn’t a problem for Realtor Paul Swanson. In 2024, he set and surpassed the goal of reaching $75 million in sales and selling more than 200 units by the end of the year. He is also a multiyear Baird & Warner Chairman’s Club member.
“If there are accolades or recognition for the work I do, it is because of the opportunity I have helping others through the buying or selling process,” Swanson says. “While I am very proud of the work I do, I have a competitive streak. I tend to compete with myself to learn, improve and continue to provide the service that my clients deserve.”
Swanson has spent all but five years of his life in Chicago and its northern suburbs. He’s lived in Park Ridge for 28 years and specializes in helping customers who are looking to buy or sell in the Near North suburbs.
Swanson transitioned to real estate 12 years ago following more than 20 years in the music industry. After seeing friends struggle with the purchase of their home, he felt he could apply his skills to real estate. “I knew that if I worked to ‘soak in’ everything real estate, that over time, my knowledge, experience, detail and follow-through and my ability to communicate would provide a much more informative experience from start to finish,” he explains.
Known for being approachable, thorough and knowledgeable, Swanson meets with potential clients to discuss goals, priorities and timelines. He also makes it a priority to spend the necessary time with clients and wants to be available to help coach them through the process.
During his time away from work, he enjoys playing a round of golf, taking in a Cubs game or walking with his wife of 30 years along the many trails and lakes in the Chicago area.
