Jerry Kroupa grew up on Lauderdale Lakes, where he still resides. He specializes in all lakefront and lake-access properties, in addition to primary residences, in the city of Elkhorn and surrounding areas. His deep knowledge of the area, coupled with his decades of experience, gives him a unique perspective, which he shares with buyers by infusing showings with area history.
Kroupa always knew he wanted a career in real estate. Now, with 35 years in the business, he’s a leading broker in the community where he’s spent most of his life — and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Inspired by family friends who were Realtors, developers and investors in the area, he began his real estate career even before he completed his degree in marketing and communications at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Kroupa sees Lauderdale Lakes as a hidden gem, 850 captivating acres of crystal clear water on which to enjoy all water sports, fishing and boating. In addition to selling on Lauderdale Lakes, he also has had recent sales on Whitewater Lake, Blue Spring Lake, Pleasant Lake, Booth Lake and Twin Lakes. He is proud to have the historic “The Boathouse” currently listed on Lauderdale Lakes, offered at $4,499,700 on 199 feet of frontage. In his downtime, this outdoor enthusiast enjoys everything lake living has to offer, including boating, water skiing and mountain biking.
Whether he’s working with luxury clients or first-time buyers, Kroupa describes his negotiating style as aggressive when necessary but empathetic on both sides. He counts among his strengths his ability to manage multiple deals at the same time and solve problems that arise from inspections and testing. Kroupa and his full-time assistant, Rio Ackman, a licensed selling agent for the last nine years, enjoy their relationships with fellow agents and strive to make each transaction pleasurable and successful for all involved.
