2025 Who's Who in Chicagoland Real Estate

Frank Campobasso, Realtor

Century 21 Circle

What initially seemed like a series of unrelated career moves — from firefighting and plumbing to marketing and sales — ultimately found their purpose when Frank Campobasso began his career at the Cook County Assessor’s Office. There, he gained a deep understanding of property valuation with the intention of becoming an appraiser. However, as his knowledge expanded, he realized that real estate sales was where his true passion lay.

Campobasso’s background in firefighting and plumbing gave him a comprehensive understanding of building construction. “I’m able to evaluate properties with a keen eye, spotting potential issues or opportunities that others might miss,” he explains. His background in marketing and sales has further sharpened his skills in negotiation, communication and building strong client relationships.

Now, after 21 years in the industry, he continues to prioritize his clients by listening intently to their needs, fostering trust and closing deals with a focus on quality construction and accurate property valuation. “Whether navigating a tough negotiation or offering insight on a home’s potential, my ability to communicate effectively is what sets me apart,” he says, believing that his talent for crafting compelling listings and presenting homes in the best light has been a key factor in his success.

A long-time Century 21 agent, Campobasso has earned numerous accolades, including multiple Quality Service Pinnacle Producer awards. He has been featured in the Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business and is a frequent guest on the AM radio show Townstone Financial, which discusses mortgage topics.

A dedicated family man, Campobasso values balancing his professional and personal lives. He has coached youth baseball, supported charitable causes and participated in various cultural organizations. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and indulging in a variety of other hobbies, including playing in an adult softball league in Oak Park.
