When you think of a real estate mogul, you might picture someone in a power suit. Yolanda Jeffries is redefining the image with her motto, “Chasing Deals in Heels.” With an MBA in hand and an instinct for closing the deal, Jeffries is the broker-owner of Lux Life Realty, a company that’s making waves not just in Illinois, Indiana and Georgia, but internationally, as well.
“People often ask me how I do it all,” Jeffries says. “The truth is, I love what I do. Real estate isn’t just a job for me; it’s my passion.” Her brand isn’t confined to the United States. Jeffries has her hands in construction projects in Chicago, Atlanta, Indiana, Dubai and Tulum, Mexico. Included on the Who’s Who in Real Estate list in both Chicago and Atlanta, she is a three-time top-producing broker who is making a name for herself as a real estate investor, developer, contractor and title agent, while also offering clients commercial loan options.
Her goal is simple: to empower individuals to build wealth through real estate investments. “I have a keen eye for numbers and a relentless drive,” says Jeffries, whose goal is to unearth hidden real estate gems. “Redefining the real estate landscape, one transaction at a time, is what I strive for.”
Her influence extends beyond real estate. She is the founder and vice president of the Zeta Pi chapter of Iota Phi Lambda, a pioneering Black professional women’s business sorority established in 1929. She also served on the board of the Realtist Women’s Council of IL and recently founded Black Women in Business & Construction.
Adding another feather to her cap, Jeffries owns Mzsavvy Hair, an online hair extension company. “I believe in pouring myself into others to empower them to be successful,” she says. “I want to inspire others to chase their dreams.”
