Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago

With extensive experience working in corporate settings as professional business consultants, Rob Gow and Chris Pfauser approach their real estate advisory roles with a consultative bent and a process-driven posture. Gow enjoyed a career working with physicians and hospitals, while Pfauser worked with leading global organizations. Several years after the purchase of their first Michigan getaway home in 2002, they transitioned their successful real estate business from Chicago and the North Shore to the other side of Lake Michigan, becoming full-time residents of the coveted Riviera community in New Buffalo Township.

Demonstrating a track record of success with over 20 years of experience marketing homes and land, the two distinguish themselves prominently with their clientele, and are known for concise market analysis, exceptional client service and impeccable integrity. Focused on Lake Michigan shoreline and country properties, Gow and Pfauser are experts in luxury home marketing and buyer search strategies in Michigan and Indiana. Their customers are most often second home and full-time sellers and buyers, and they have the combined expertise to regularly exceed expectations and anticipate client needs. They describe their work style as, “Focused on the client experience and establishing trust and confidence while being a pleasure to do business with.” Gow and Pfauser further describe themselves as having a seasoned consulting approach characterized by skillful project management and operational excellence to ensure that the important details do not get missed.

The duo positions themselves as market leaders and their work has been recognized with numerous industry awards. While Gow served for nine years as board chair and treasurer of The Pokagon Fund, a local nonprofit foundation, Pfauser is currently a board member of local land trust, Chikaming Open Lands. The two are travelers and outdoorsmen. They enjoy hiking, boating, paddle sports, and spending time with their Labrador Retrievers.
