Based out of the bank’s Elmhurst branch, he is known for his easygoing personality, professionalism, responsiveness and dedication to his craft. He is a passionate client advocate and has built his reputation on being communicative, reliable and detail-oriented. When his clients experience the comfort and relief that come from a “clear to close” mortgage approval and are handed the keys to their new home, he can then rest, knowing he’s done his job.

Whether working with first-time borrowers, second-home clients or investors, Phoneprasith works tirelessly with his team to ensure that, above all, every client has an outstanding home lending experience. Starting with a review of a client’s finances and budget, he communicates a clear picture of the borrower’s unique lending options, answers any and all questions and then provides guidance through every step of the homebuying process. “I lay out the process with every customer,” he says, “from loan preapproval to offer, from contract acceptance to underwriting, and every step along the way to the closing table.”

With support from his assistant, Shellie, which allows him to focus more closely on his clients’ needs, Phoneprasith is a hands-on loan originator who quarterbacks each client and oversees each file through the homebuying journey. He describes his style as both “process-driven” and “fun and easy.”

Phoneprasith is a member of the Asian Real Estate Association of America. At home and in his career, this husband and father of three works hard to be a positive role model for his children. He and his wife, Ashley, welcomed their third daughter, Malory, earlier this year. She joined older sisters Morgan and Madelyn, who are their proud dad’s greatest personal accomplishments.
