When it comes to job experience, Todd Gambit is nothing like other loan officers — something real estate agents take notice of. “They see the different background I bring to the table, and how that will help their client,” he says.
Gambit has over 30 years of financial experience working as a trader, financial advisor and loan officer for several Wall Street banks and mortgage companies. He got his start in the loan business through a corporate relationship with a Big Four accounting firm, creating mortgage solutions for their benefits program.
In addition to serving as a loan officer, Gambit is also the founder and president of Gambit Asset Management, a boutique wealth advisory firm specializing in high-net-worth executives and families. He’s also a certified financial planner and a certified divorce financial analyst.
“I’m knowledgeable about many facets of finance,” he stresses. “There aren’t many situations or stressful environments I haven’t seen. I can bring clarity to tough lending situations very quickly.”
As part of the Sports, Entertainment and Corporate Benefits Team at CrossCountry Mortgage, Gambit and his team are very process-driven — his clients demand white-glove service, so he ensures that he and his team remain extremely attentive to every need and detail.
Given his extensive background, Gambit has a lot of success with first-time buyers. “I’m able to incorporate their mortgage into their financial plan,” he explains. “This has proven critical for many families as they are trying to get started and want to understand how their first big purchase affects their budget and portfolio.”
