Sherry Molitor, Broker Associate

Coldwell Banker Realty

Clients of Sherry Molitor love that she is knowledgeable, attentive and always prioritizes them. Molitor, a top-producing broker associate with Coldwell Banker Realty, recently sold a North Shore lakefront home representing the buyers. “There were at least seven other offers, and my buyers won,” says Molitor, a relocation and negotiation specialist with 22 years of experience in the industry. “It wasn’t just about the price; we crafted the terms we were confident the seller would prefer. My buyers are thrilled.”

Molitor routinely tours homes on the market, studies data and is often aware of premarket listings, giving the buyers and sellers she represents in the North Shore a competitive advantage.

“Selling or purchasing a home can be stressful,” she says. “I do my best to ease that stress by always being responsive, available and listening closely to my clients.”

Molitor and her husband raised four children in Winnetka, the town they have called home for 29 years—giving her extensive expertise in the area.

She was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years before becoming a real estate broker. Prior to that, she had a successful career in media. With every real estate transaction, she puts to use the sales, advertising, marketing and negotiating skills she gained as director of TV network sales development for CBS Broadcasting.

“There is a lot of satisfaction in knowing a buyer or seller places their trust in me to handle such an important event, and I take that very seriously,” she says. “I really enjoy meeting people from various areas and backgrounds while helping them find their sanctuary.”

Molitor is a member of the National Association of Realtors, North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors and Winnetka-Glencoe-Northfield Chamber of Commerce. She participates in the CPS volunteer “grandparent” program and the Volunteer Center of Northeast Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, pickleball and concerts.
