Creativity is the premise and foundation David Jaffe uses in every aspect of his real estate career.
Following a 15-year career as an architect specializing in interior design, Jaffe made the decision to move into real estate. “I knew my strengths in sales, combined with my experience in design, would be a great fit to excel in the real estate field,” Jaffe explains. “I also wanted a flexible schedule to spend more time with my young family.” Crediting that background to his current success, he is able to provide sellers suggestions for improvements to maximize the appearance of their homes while also giving buyers a clear vision for the possibilities a house has to offer to make it their dream home. “My experience as an architect gives me the skills to guide clients through a procedure which goes hand-in-hand with the entire buying and selling process,” he says.
A broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, Jaffe has lived in the Chicago area since 1979 and moved to Arlington Heights in 1994. An active member in his community, he an active member of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce- serving as chair in 2019, the Special Events Commission, the Rotary Club, Lions Club and Sherwood Neighborhood Association.
Known for his professionalism and attention to detail, Jaffe was proud to be named the @properties Road to Rolex Award winner in 2022. He received the company’s Outstanding Achievement Award from 2018-22, the Five Star Professional Award from 2010-2023, the Daily Herald Readers’ Choice Award in 2013, 2015, 2017 and the Coldwell Banker International Diamond Award from 2009-2017. When not working, Jaffe enjoys playing tennis, swimming, hiking, sailing, attending rock concerts and watching Chicago and Boston major professional sports.
