When first-time buyers, sellers and investors begin exploring opportunities in the North Side or suburban North Shore, it’s important to work with someone who has a deep understanding of the city. Peter Green, a broker with @properties Christie’s International Real Estate, is not only a native of Chicago but also to the world of real estate.

Green’s mother was a Realtor and real estate lender, and his father invested in multi-unit properties, so it felt natural when he became a broker in 2015. “I’ve always loved homes and working with people,” he explains. “It’s a relationship business, and I enjoy getting to know my clients and becoming an integral part of their life.”

With significant experience in home renovations, new-construction builds and condo flipping, Green enjoys a challenge from start to finish. “It’s such a great experience to see a raw space, develop a plan with an architect or builder and then bring it to life,” he says.

Thanks to his consistent availability, industry acumen and streamlined processes, Green has created many long-standing relationships with clients, whose trust in him can be measured by the fact that 90% of his business is now referral-based. “I have the best clients, and they are the reason that I love what I do,” he says.

In both 2021 and 2022, Green earned the distinction of Top Producer by the Chicago Association of Realtors.

In his spare time, he loves to cook, bake and travel. He also enjoys biking along the Chicago Lakefront  Trail and taking walks through the city with his dog, Hank.
