Colleen C. Wilcox, Luxury Broker

COMPASS

Colleen Wilcox finds it an honor and pleasure to help clients find their place in the world and connect to their new community.

Wilcox, a luxury broker with COMPASS, is dedicated to making the transaction process run smoothly. She pays attention to detail and is always available to clients. Wilcox assists buyers and sellers in the city and western suburbs.

She holds the designations of certified negotiating specialist, luxury property specialist and short sale foreclosure, and is a founding member of REALM, International Luxury Real Estate. Wilcox earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s from St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame.

A second-generation realtor, she has real estate in her blood. Her mom was the best Realtor in her small town and her father sold farmland in addition to farming and owning a commodity brokerage business.

Known to go the extra mile for her clients and always looking out for their best interests, it’s no wonder 90% of her business is either referrals or past clients.

“I talk to my clients throughout the buying and selling process and am involved every step of the way,” she says. “I do surround myself with the best expertise that can be purchased in terms of photography, videos, staging, etc. I contract with the best in the business but talk to clients myself throughout.”

Wilcox has been a Five Star Professional from 2011-2023 and was ranked “Fortune Magazine’s” Market Leader in 2022. She also made the publication’s list of top 15 agents in Illinois for client satisfaction.

When she’s not working, she’s active in the local community through philanthropy and schools. Wilcox is a past president of D181 Elementary School Foundation, is a past board member of the Hinsdale Historical Society, is a member of the Hinsdale Historical Society Women’s Board and is the past chairperson of the Mainstreet Association of Realtors, Government Affairs Committee.
