A proud daughter of a real estate veteran, Kim Broznowski Powers says her mother, Linda Broznowski, provided significant mentoring in the beginning of her real estate career. “My mom taught me that this business is not easy, but if you work hard, you’re able to play hard, too,” she shares. Powers has taken this advice to heart and built a successful career over the past two decades.

After graduating from Indiana University, Powers spent time as an event planner, with a focus on marketing and sales. This role taught her how to think on her feet, stay organized and meet deadlines — skills she carries with her today as a top-producing agent.

Powers grew up in the northwest suburbs and resides there currently, but she also spent 15 years living in Chicago and Evanston, which gave her an invaluable knowledge of the market and a particular fondness for helping people sell in the city and move to the “burbs.” She’s a certified military relocation professional and has experience with estate and condo sales, as well as investment properties. She also loves working with first-time homebuyers to educate them on the process.

Clients who work with Powers like how she’s a go-getter who stops at nothing to get the job done, readily using her vendors to help them throughout the buying and selling process. Clients also appreciate Powers’ straightforward approach and know that she always has their best interests in mind. She works diligently to make the process as seamless as possible for all her clients.
