Christopher McAllister, President and Designated Managing Broker

McAllister Real Estate

After working in the real estate industry for over 20 years, Christopher McAllister’s passion was to open his own office. “I finally made that dream come true with the opening of McAllister Real Estate,” McAllister shares. “I was able to work for some really amazing companies who gave me the opportunity in management to get to this point, and for that I am very grateful.” The small family-owned office is in Itasca, which is a central location for clients he helps move from the city to the suburbs and vice versa. “We offer less fees than other brokerages,” he explains. “We are geared to help the public understand the importance of their investment and not just the finishes.”

As the president and designated managing broker, McAllister specializes in offering excellent customer service from Chicagoland to Galena. A Chicago native, he has always been an entrepreneur and has enjoyed his real estate career for 21 years. Known for being genuine and always very thorough, he attributes his success to retaining his client base. “A family-owned business is so important in the world today, providing people with the option to shop locally,” he points out. “Clients are not just numbers at McAllister Real Estate, they become part of our family.”

McAllister is the planning commissioner for the Village of Itasca and belongs to the North Shore-Barrington Association of Realtors, Realtors Against Homelessness and Itasca Lions Club. “Knowledge is power. When I sit in a room, I listen to what people say, pay attention to what they need and find a way to make it happen,” he says. “I am not afraid of any deal, and I am confident, no matter what, we will find a way to make it happen together.”

When not working, McAllister loves driving his vintage Jeep Wrangler around town and watching his kids participate in extracurricular activities. “I am proud I was able to open my own office in an area that is perfect to keep a solid family-work balance,” he adds. “It’s the town where I live and love.”
