While pursuing a career in acting and modeling, Anne Stromayer would think about ways to increase her income when bookings were slim. “I wanted to remain independent, run my own business and work for myself, so falling into real estate became easy,” she remembers. After moving to Chicago from Milwaukee, Stromayer decided to pursue the luxury market. “I jumped in with both feet to learn the North Shore area and what each community offered,” she shares. “I toured homes, took on relocation assignments and learned all I could about representing a luxury client.”
In the industry for 25 years, Stromayer is a broker with Baird & Warner covering the North Shore and northern suburbs. Described as being attentive, detail oriented, patient and flexible, she recently celebrated her best year ever, including some of her highest-priced sales to date. “I have a straightforward and honest approach and my clients appreciate that,” she says. “It leads to creating excellent client relationships and successful transactions.”
A member of Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS®, Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, Stromayer received the Baird & Warner’s Founders Club Award for outstanding achievement several times. “My motto ‘Selling with Style’ has definitely been a huge part of my success,” she explains. “It describes my approach in how I dress, speak and conduct myself, which carries over in how I market properties.”
Always thinking outside the box, Stromayer believes that challenging markets call for more creative solutions and this is where she puts her many talents to good use. “I am a genuinely happy and positive individual, always looking for the best scenario possible,” she says. “I am a problem solver and will never quit.” An avid reader, she attends hot yoga on a regular basis and also enjoys dining out at the newest local pubs and eateries.
