Nancy Prelaske, Real Estate Agent

Compass

For Nancy Prelaske, working in real estate truly runs in her blood. She comes from an ambitious family of real estate agents that traces its roots back to the 1800s. Today, she utilizes that same entrepreneurial spirit to make her clients’ dreams come true.

Originally from the East Coast, Prelaske began her career in direct marketing with a national company in Houston. She arrived in Chicago with the idea of following in the footsteps of her ancestors and entered the real estate business.

Prelaske is a real estate agent for Compass. She and her team connect clients to over 50 years of combined real estate expertise, ensuring that the process of buying or selling their next home is equally as smooth as it is informed and exciting. A Chicago residential industry expert with background in project management, condominium conversions, new construction, real estate auctions and the resale market, Prelaske works together with broker Don Prelaske and her team to supply buyers and sellers with an informative, curated sales experience from start to finish.

At Compass, she has the added benefit of access to ultramodern technology and marketing platforms to even better assist her clients in the home search or sale exposure. Offering high-quality, expert service is her ultimate goal.

Through training as a hospice volunteer, Prelaske has become particularly adept at active listening. She especially enjoys helping homebuyers navigate a new city, and her clients often refer to her as incredibly thoughtful and attentive.

Throughout her 30 years of experience, Prelaske has earned her fair share of accolades. The Chicago Association of Realtors has recognized her as a top producer. Additionally, she helped establish the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association’s Sales and Marketing Council . From there, she went on to mentor and train other sales agents, and the association presented her with its Executive Award for outstanding sales achievement.
