Leigh Marcus, Broker

@properties Christie’s International Real Estate

Leigh Marcus is a top real estate agent for @properties Christie’s International Real Estate who has been recognized annually since 2009 for ranking among the top 1% of Realtors in Chicago. He strives to give clients the comfort and confidence to help them achieve success with their move. He specializes in single-family homes and condos on Chicago’s North Side and works with everyone from first-time homebuyers and sellers to luxury clients. He maintains honest and open communication with clients and tailors his services to suit their needs.

Marcus is a gregarious and people-centered leader who delivers solutions in record time. Since the start of his career, he’s closed more than 2,000 transactions, totaling more than $1 billion in sales volume. He exceeds performance among real estate agents in Chicago by selling a home practically every other day for 99% of the list price, half of which sell in 13 days or less.

In 2019, Marcus represented the listing that garnered the highest transaction value in Roscoe Village in over a decade. He has been recognized as a top producer by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® for five years straight and has made the Inc. 5000 list for the past two years.

Before joining the industry, Marcus worked in technology sales at IBM, CDW and EMC for 15 years and attributes his success in fostering and maintaining client relationships to that experience. He was inspired by his wife’s success in the real estate industry and adapted his skillset to transition into this new career.

Marcus is a big advocate of continuous learning and a resource for anyone who wishes to educate themselves about the market. He’s a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and the Mike Ferry Organization, and he volunteers at various food pantries throughout Chicago. In his free time, he also enjoys meditating, riding bikes with his daughters and listening to different types of music.
