The clients of Chicago natives Julia Corkey and Vickie Schoenfeld benefit from their laid-back approach and 17 years of field experience. Serving residential buyers and sellers in the Chicago metro area with a focus on the western suburbs, their clients know them as efficient, top-notch marketers steeped in innovation and reliability.
Corkey found herself still searching for her passion after graduating from college and working in public relations and marketing. A conversation with a local broker helped her see that her experience as a homeowner and landlord, coupled with her outgoing personality and penchant for quality customer service, made her a perfect fit for real estate. Schoenfeld worked in international sales and marketing before becoming a broker. She developed an affinity for the industry after buying and selling four of her own properties. She notes how the agents she worked with didn’t provide the appropriate level of service or expertise. Upon making the career switch to real estate, not only did she find the freedom she was seeking, but her experiential vantage point served as a foundation for her business style.
The pair aims for transparency in their client relationships. “With uncompromising standards of integrity, honesty and service, we give our clients the confidence of knowing that their transactions will be completed professionally and ethically,” they note. Corkey and Schoenfeld were recipients of the Baird & Warner Founder’s Award in 2021, having helped 64 families and closed more than $21 million in sales. They were also featured in Top Agent Magazine in 2021 and are members of their local and national Realtor associations, five other industry organizations and U.S. Military on the Move.
The duo recently added a new team member and look forward to adding another this year. Corkey and Schoenfeld regularly volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora and at St. Raphael in Naperville. In their downtime, they both enjoy boating, traveling, attending their children’s sporting activities and purchasing rental properties.
