With 25 years of experience in mortgage lending, Neighborhood Loans Vice President of Banking Jorge A. Flores approaches his work and his clients with a sense of compassion. As one of the firm’s first hires, Flores has spent the last 12 years at neighborhood loans, always finding the best solution for each situation. He manages various types of loans, including those for first-time homebuyers, investors and refinancers, as well as mortgages via FHA, VA and conventional financing.

Flores began his career right after high school working at a local savings and loan, where he was able to use his bilingual skills to work with a wide client base. Flores credits his success to his attentive, friendly and compassionate personality, as well as his determination to secure the best homebuying solutions for his clients. “I look at my job as more of a hobby, as I am passionate about what I do,” he says.

Flores has also focused on growing and leading his team, which in turn has helped him grow his business and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The team’s ability to handle volume, while remaining dedicated to each client, has been instrumental to their success. “We all help each other out as a big family,” he explains.

Flores works closely with clients, educating them on the homebuying process from preapproval to closing. He is committed to guiding his clients through what can be a stressful experience, doing his best to make every deal a success and, most importantly, fulfilling their needs.

Flores has had his own radio show, Casas En Chicago, on 93.5 FM for 10 years. On the program, he helps educate and motivate listeners to purchase a home. He is also an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, the Chicago Association of Realtors and CAR’s Young Professionals Network.
