A first-generation Italian American whose grandparents uprooted their families in search of unlimited opportunities, Gianna Ricci attributes her fortitude to her family. With her mother having been in real estate for 37 years, it’s no wonder Ricci claims 22 years in the industry thus far. Though she is now an expert at assisting agents and clients in positioning properties to stimulate the market — regardless of market conditions — she worked hard to master her craft.
With specialties in single-family homes and luxury real estate in Chicago’s western suburbs, Ricci expanded her knowledge of the area during her selling years. At a time when the internet was not yet a resource, she regularly navigated neighborhoods, manually pulled information and emphasized honing business relationships to make deals happen. A current member of Ayoub Rabah’s Senior Leadership Team at Coldwell Banker Realty, Ricci credits both Rabah and her former managing broker, Michael Marone, for tapping into and elevating her potential. She says of their impact, “Michael saw the potential and encouraged and helped foster my pathway in leadership. Ayoub’s leadership style pushes me to be bolder and step outside my comfort zone.” She also acknowledges her strategic use of social media and her team as facilitators of her success.
In the past year, Ricci was promoted to regional vice president, more than doubling the number of agents for whom she’s responsible. Under her stewardship, her team continues to maximize its use of company technology and marketing portals — even as the clutches of the pandemic began to loosen — to produce a growth of 15% in its region in 2021. Further, six of the eight offices under her purview were Coldwell Banker national award-winners.
With a deep understanding of the need to remain agile in the industry, Ricci is a member of her local and national Realtor associations, along with the Women’s Council of Realtors, and is a Certified International Property Specialist. She prioritizes balance in her life and enjoys meditation and journaling, and most importantly spending time with her husband and four-year old daughter.
