Named one of the Platinum Top 1% of Realtors in both Sales and Transactions by Mainstreet Organization of Realtors, Daphne Pinkney has the drive and desire to help others achieve financial freedom and generational wealth through real estate.
Prior to her successes in real estate, Pinkney held a Vice President position in a corporate office. “I’ve been in the finance industry since I was 20 years old,” she says, adding that she attributes a lot of her success in real estate to her years in finance. “It is my belief that having a full understanding of the process of mortgage lending sets me apart from the average realtor—that and the fact that I truly love helping others build and win.”
In the past, Pinkney’s focus was assisting first-time home buyers as it was her mission to increase homeownership amongst African American and minority communities. 300-plus closed homes later, Pinkney has created a full service team and added luxury neighborhoods to her portfolio. Her clients love her laugh and her heart, and tell her they love her energy.
Pinkney sells throughout the Chicagoland area and knows the area very well, having grown up on the west side of Chicago. In the beginning of her career, she became a trailblazer in the South Side of Chicago and the South Suburbs, researching the neighborhoods and allotting up to eight hours a day to drive the areas and learn all she could in order to locate affordable properties for her clients.
She sold 93 units at approximately $26 million in 2021, an impressive followup to her 77 units at $21 million the year prior. She also gave up her personal brokerage, The Pinkney Team Realty, and joined forces with eXp Realty and The 10X family. “I already know this will be a move I will be eternally grateful that I made.
