Mark Schrimmer, Realtor

Coldwell Banker Realty

Mark Schrimmer, a Realtor at Coldwell Banker Realty, is a seasoned real estate professional with almost four decades of industry experience, but he first learned about customer service, professionalism and the real estate industry during his 24 years in the residential real estate department of Kraft Foods, where he facilitated employee relocations, as well as his time spent running a hot dog stand. He even once considered opening his own fast-food restaurant upon graduating from college, but he’d had his heart set on real estate since he was 19 years old. He earned a bachelor’s of science degree in real estate from Arizona State University, a rarity in the real estate business, and since then, it’s been a career filled with hard work, enormous satisfaction and rewarding experiences.

Schrimmer’s clients call him patient, knowledgeable, hardworking, client-oriented and someone who can get the job done. He’s always available and makes his clients feel like they are the only ones he’s working with. These attributes, combined with his determination and desire to work tirelessly to help his clients, are what have landed Schrimmer in the Coldwell Banker President’s Circle every year since 2016.

“A client for the moment, a relationship for life,” is Schrimmer’s motto when it comes to business. He always makes sure his clients get one-on-one time with him, rather than with a team member or assistant. He walks his clients through every step of the process, from introduction to the closing table. “I have a pleasant disposition,” he says. “And while buying and selling a home is serious business with high financial consequences, I try to make it a fun process.”

Schrimmer isn’t just active in his professional life, but in his personal life as well. He’s a huge White Sox fan and enjoys the outdoors and physical activities, such as hiking, running and water sports. He also spends as much time as possible with his two adult children, Rachel and Brian. Schrimmer loves to travel, having recently visited Australia and New Zealand, and hopes to add many more countries to his travel log.
