After graduating from Indiana University in 2010, Lauren Rosen worked for various tech startups before switching gears to her current career. “I have always loved real estate,” she says. “Before I was in the industry, I would spend my spare time looking at houses and condos online for fun, even when I wasn’t in the market to move.” When the time came to think about a career change, her decision was simple. “Every morning when I log into the MLS to look for homes for my clients, it doesn’t feel like work. I genuinely enjoy doing it.”
The combination of her friendly and approachable demeanor, dedication to being honest and transparent with clients and powerhouse negotiating skills has allowed Rosen, a broker with Compass, to flourish professionally. Now, a seven-year veteran of the industry, she finds her business driven predominantly by referrals and repeat clients. “I genuinely care about each of my clients and am dedicated to helping them realize their real estate goals,” Rosen says. “I ask a lot of questions and make sure I have a clear understanding of their wants and needs. I work tirelessly for each client until their goals are met.”
Rosen focuses her business on the downtown Chicago area, where she currently resides, as well as surrounding residential neighborhoods and the northern suburbs, where she grew up. Rosen currently lives in Chicago’s River North neighborhood with her husband and toy goldendoodle, Nelly. She plans to move back to the North Shore in the near future and will continue serving both city and north suburban clientele. “I truly believe I was meant to have a career in real estate,” she says. “It really is the perfect complement to my interests and skill set. I love what I do and feel blessed to be able to do it every day.”
